Withdrawal Policy of Kombuchery GmbH
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods;
- in the case of multiple goods ordered in a single order and delivered separately: from the day on which you or a third party named by you took possession of the last item;
- in the case of contracts for the regular delivery of goods over a defined period: from the day on which you or a third party named by you took possession of the first item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Kombuchery GmbH, Torstraße 105–107, 10119 Berlin, Germany, Email: imprint@kombuchery.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice regarding the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery charges (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. Please do not send returns to our office address but only to the return address provided in your order confirmation or return instructions.
You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion or Premature Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- contracts for the delivery of goods which are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal was removed after delivery.
- for deliveries of bundled food units (e.g., 6-pack trays), if the outer packaging has been opened or damaged and a return is no longer reasonable due to hygiene, regulatory labeling requirements, or product-specific reasons – especially if mandatory product information is provided exclusively on the outer packaging.
General Notes
- Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. If possible, return the goods in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.
- Please do not send returns freight collect.
- Please note that the above notes are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
